Sun, Sea, Siesta

I once read a book called “A Thousand Splendid Suns” it was so beautifully written. I have since read every book by the author Khaled Hosseini, he is a masterful wordsmith, he paints vivid pictures with his writing, you are transported to the time, place and Country in which his books are written, his imagination is limitless, I was transfixed as I sat on the beach in Store Bay Tobago soaking up the sun, shaking off the English cold and reading my book without a care in the World.

Basking in the Sun after a few hours makes you hungry. I consulted my Trini friend “what’s the best thing to eat whilst in Tobago?” “Crab and Dumplings” 1 hour later I demolished a plate full of the most delicious mouthwatering finger licking Crab and dumplings, it was deliciousness on steroids. The thing about eating delicious food, it makes you want to eat more, and yet you also want to savour the taste for another occasion.

If you get the chance to visit the beautiful beach in Store Bay and want a bite to eat there is no other place to buy your food than Miss Jeans. Her food is so moorish and delectable you will undoubtedly come back for more.
